ADORABLE SCOTTY DOGS, as per images - EACH BOOKEND IS DONE IN ART DECO DESIGN, THESE ARE QUITE OLD, I WOULD PLACE THEM TO BE MADE IN 1930 - 40's,EACH BOOKEND IS MARKED WITH IMPRESSED 2494 NUMBER, TO ME IT SIGNIFIES THAT IS EUROPEAN MADE.Excellent condition,no chips or cracks, but for a glaze crazing, they seem to be hardly or never used, Each stands about 5" high 4 1/2" long and 3" wide and each is quite heavy, as bookends should be.
